About Elizabeth Lim
Elizabeth Lim is a U.S. immigration attorney whose practice is built on over a decade of legal experience across law firms, corporate in-house immigration teams, and government departments in the United States and Australia.
Elizabeth is licensed as a U.S. attorney in New York and admitted as an Australian lawyer in the Australian Capital Territory.
She founded Elizabeth Lim Law PLLC with a clear purpose: to offer the kind of focused, expert immigration representation that high-achieving professionals, founders, and families deserve but rarely find at large, generalist firms.
Deep Expertise in Employment-Based Immigration
Elizabeth's practice focuses on self-petitioner green cards (EB-1A and EB-2 NIW) and visa pathways for entrepreneurs/founders (E-2, founder E-3, founder H-1B, O-1, L-1A).
She has been honing her skills in crafting immigrant and non-immigrant petitions since 2022, developing a track record across a wide range of industries and client backgrounds.
An Immigrant's Perspective
Elizabeth is herself an immigrant twice over. Born in South Korea, she grew up in Sydney and lived in Canberra, Australia, before migrating to the U.S. with her family. She understands firsthand what is at stake in the immigration process, not just legally, but personally.
That lived experience is central to the way she practices immigration law: with honesty, empathy, and a deep belief in the value of what immigrants bring to the United States.
